I have found very beautiful images.  I have gone to google.com couple times this semester, and not for homework.  I would see images in our textbook when, I would read the chapters, and I would then look for art images on the web.

zhiboedov.com

I found this website.  I liked alot of his artwork.  I mostly like his pieces that have water.  I have this thing for water.  It might have to do with my passion for fishing.

kevincandon.com

Mr. Candon brings people to life with his wonderful pencil artworks.  My sports passion really is fulfilled with his portraits of Dale and Dale Jr (Earnhardt).  He does wonderful work with children as well.

I am not so much a fan of abstract art, but Mary Capan's work really got my attention.  She uses such wonderful colors to illustrate what she is looking at when she paints.

Those were my artists links.  I have not been to any museum, but the M.I.M. on Nolana.  I now have an interest in art that if I ever go to a big city, I probably would visit one.  My museum links are as follows:

www.africanart.org

I have always had a keen interest in African-American History.  I found this site while browsing.  This museum has art of all kinds from jewelry, to sculptures to paintings.

When I think of museums I just picture paintings, sculptures, and statues.  I found this site and it focuses alot on quilts.  This one quilt is so colorful and active with Jazz life from dancing to bongos to saxaphone playing to the sun.

If ever in New York I would attend this museum.  It has many kinds of art on display.  I would go first and foremost for the Egyptian art.  To see things that were made centuries ago would be an experience.
