I am a Criminal Justice major. I would like to work
as a probation officer with Hidalgo County. I am currently 19 hours from graduation for my associates degree (not counting
the 16 hours I am currently taking).
I am 33 years old. I am happily married, 1 year now.
My family includes my wife Edna, children Ashley Nicole Martinez (15) (daughter from 1st marriage), David Lee
(15) , Keila Elizabeth (13), Isaiah Eliam (7), Kassandra Lee (4), Klarissa Elizabeth (2) all Gonzalez.
My bloodline family starts with parents Richard, and Emma Lydia
Martinez. We are three children in the family. I am the oldest, my sister Maricela (30) and Rolando (24).
I will be the last of my sibliings to graduate from college.
My hobbies, favorites, and sports are numerous. I will
start with hobbies. Fishing, collecting football cards (new and old), and barbequing. Favorites are alot so let
me continue with sports. Football is my favorite sport. I love fantasy football. I can play football, baseball,
basketball, volleyball (really get into this one), frisbee, I can hit a tennis ball but cannot really rally line to line,
and swimming.
Favorites where do I start. My favorite music is heavy
metal but I can listen to just about everything from Frank Sinatra, to Shania Twain, to Ramon Ayala to of course my two favorite
bands KISS and Metallica. I absolutely cannot stand reaggeaton. Music is a wonderful culmination of different
instruments brought together with lyrics to bring out an outstanding sound. I started attending concerts back
in 1999. I have been to 20 concerts in my adultlife. Most recent was Mudvayne at Las Palmas Race Park 3/24/2009.
Sports is my outlet. I watch football (NFL and college),
basketball (NBA, March Madness and RGV Vipers), hockey (NHL and RGV Killerbees), and a little bit of MLB and NASCAR.
My favorite teams are Dallas Cowboys, Michigan Wolverines, San Antonio Spurs, New York Rangers (NHL), Atlanta Braves (MLB)
and my favorite driver is Dale Earnhardt (R.I.P.) and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
I, in my opinion, have lived a life where I have fulfilled most
of my goals. Upon receiving my associates degree and seeing a Dallas Cowboy football game (eventually), I will have
accomplished what I wanted to since I was younger. I wanted to graduate from college, have a family with a loving and
trusting wife and good kids (it took me a second marriage to find it but I am truely happy), have many friends (not acquaintances),
and attend rock concerts and Cowboys and Wolverines football game. I am still here and I will achieve this!
